By submitting your speaker application and agreeing to participate in the Built by Words conference, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Speakers retain full copyright to their original works, including the content of their presentations, slides, and other materials shared at the conference.
The Built by Words conference will record all presentations. By agreeing to participate, speakers grant Built by Words and its organizers a full, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, sell, and disseminate the recorded content of their talk. This includes, but is not limited to, posting the recordings on our website, social media, and third-party
platforms for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes.
By participating as a speaker, you grant Built by Words and its organizers the right to use your photos, video, biography, and other personal information provided for promotional, marketing, and public relations purposes. This includes usage on our website, in conference materials, and through social media, email campaigns, and other publicity efforts.
Speakers are responsible for ensuring that their content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. By submitting materials, speakers affirm that they hold all necessary rights to use and distribute the content of their presentations.
Speakers agree not to disclose any confidential or proprietary information during their presentations unless they have the necessary permissions or rights to do so.
Speakers will not receive any financial compensation for their presentations unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement.
Built by Words reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to speakers in a timely manner.
By accepting your role as a speaker, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
